Founded in 2000, Cluster Technology Limited (CLUSTERTECH or CT) specializes in the provision of advanced computing technology solutions. CLUSTERTECH utilizes Cluster, Grid, Cloud and other high performance computing (HPC) technologies to improve operational efficiency, address large-scale computing demand, develop Business Intelligence, and ensure high availability. ClusterTech’s R&D team, which consists of a group of highly experienced PhDs and masters, dedicates to providing professional services and technical support to our clients in various sectors including industry, commerce, finance, government, research and education.
In 2000, CLUSTERTECH and the Chinese University of Hong Kong jointly established the Center for Large-Scale Computation (CLC) with the mission to develop practical high-level computing. Hailed by Sun Microsystems as Asia's "Competence Center for Financial Engineering", CLC provided financial institutions in Asia, Europe and America with professional consulting and software development services.
In 2003, CLUSTERTECH stepped into the High Performance Computing Cluster market in mainland China. We provide one-stop service including pre-sale testing, system design, software and hardware integration and optimization. We have served the advanced computing needs of over a hundred multinational and national level institutes including: HSBC, DBS, ING, Bank of China, CNOOC, PetroChina, Sinopec, China Earthquake Administration, China Meteorology Administration, 14 institutes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, etc.
In 2009, CLUSTERTECH launched Cloud Computing service and became the sole distributor of GigaSpaces in the Greater China Region. We provide one-stop service based on Cloud Computing and In-memory Data Grid. In the same year, CLUSTERTECH was awarded "Hong Kong Awards for Industries - Technological Achievement Certificate of Merit."
