Video-on-demand, live streaming of sport events, online performances, webinars, Facebook and Instagram live, are just a few examples of how multi-media content is being consumed. Users are increasingly opting to access such content on internet and mobile devices, and over-the-top (OTT) content is becoming the new norm globally. Local giants such as PCCW, TVB, HKTV and many more have launched their very own OTT services to embrace this growing market. This workshop aims to discuss the opportunities and challenges for broadcasters, and to offer insights into how Verizon responds to such challenges and opportunities in the U.S. market, where the OTT landscape is more advanced.

Intended Participants:

OTT service providers, video broadcasting companies
