ClusterTech attended the 1st Guangdong-Hong Kong Cloud Computing Conference 2012

December 14, 2012, Guangzhou, China — The 1st Guangdong-Hong Kong Cloud Computing Conference was held in Guangzhou. It was organized by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Hong Kong Cyberport, Guangdong Software Industry Association, and the Guangdong Branch of China Telecom. The conference aims to provide a high-end platform for cloud computing development and industry exchange in the Guangdong Province and Hong Kong, as well as drive the growth of cloud computing and its applications.

Cloud computing has been deployed and applied in various aspects of our society. Representatives from China Telecom, MTR, Deutsche Bank and other companies shared their experiences on how cloud computing can be applied to telecommunications, transportations, finance and SMBs. ClusterTech has rich experiences in applying its public cloud, Fengqi.Asia, in a variety of areas, including entertainment, logistics, retailing, and tourism. It is developing more industry-specific cloud computing services.

The conference also served as the kick-off ceremony for the first Guangdong-Hong Kong ICT Young Entrepreneur Programme. Both parties will provide joint financial support for promising commercial ideas in the ICT field.
