In Recognition of ClusterTech's Technological Achievement

PRISMA - our big data analytics solution – recently won the Technological Achievement Certificate of Merit at the 2016 Hong Kong Awards for Industries (HKAI). This was achieved merely eight months following a silver award in the Hong Kong ICT Awards (big data category). The certificate confirms the value that Prisma brings to the Hong Kong market. The Hong Kong Awards for Industries Awards Presentation Ceremony-cum-Gala Dinner was held on 13th Dec 2016 in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and officiated by the Chief Executive of HKSAR, Mr CY Leung. ClusterTech’s Associate Partner and Head of Marketing, Mr Jason Wong received the certificate from Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP)’s Chief Commercial officer, Mr Andrew Young.


PRISMA is an innovative and state-of-the-art text processing technology invented by ClusterTech to empower business intelligence. It consists of 3 core technologies including “Search Engine”, “Text Mining”, and “(Trilingual) Natural Language Processing (NLP) ” (The Natural Language Processing (N.L.P.) Technology in PRISMA is unique. It is capable of processing trilingual texts (Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and English) simultaneously, and is tailor-made for the multi-cultural Hong Kong market. In the past, text documents relied heavily on manual reading and handling. Now, structured and unstructured text data including Cantonese slang, idioms and buzzwords can be understood and automatically categorised by PRISMA.

About Hong Kong Awards for Industries (HKAI):

The HKAI was launched in 2005 by merging the former Hong Kong Awards for Industry and the former Hong Kong Awards for Services, established in 1989 and 1997 respectively. The HKAI aims to recognise the outstanding achievements of Hong Kong enterprises in commending excellence in various aspects of their performance. The 2016 HKAI covered seven categories and the technological achievement category organised by the HKSTP.
